6. Clear Creek Metro Park

Clear Creek Metro Park features over 5,300 acres of woodland interspersed with blackhand sandstone cliffs, ravines, and creeks. Our favorite is the Hemlock trail. This is considered a difficult hike, but if your family is active this trail should not pose too much of a challenge. Our kids love to end the hike with a splash in the creek. Don’t forget to pack your buckets and nets! If you enjoy fishing bring your gear, as there are many access points to the creek or Lake Ramona where you can partake in this activity. An Ohio fishing license is required.

We enjoy experiencing the beauty of the Hocking Hills from the back of a horse especially during the Autumn months.
